Purple Butterfly Pages
Purple Butterfly Pages was founded by
Caitlin Ayers.
During the summer of 2010, as a freshman majoring in Applied Business Technology with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing, Ms. Caitlin Ayers developed her business, Purple Butterfly Pages. Purple Butterfly Pages is an online book store and author, Stephanie Townsend Ayers’, publicist contact site. What started out as a class project soon developed into a passion. Caitlin had dreams of being her own boss and of working from her home office. She had a desire to earn money and she wanted to encourage people to imagine, to dream, and to share the companionship of a good book. As the third oldest in a family of ten children, Caitlin wanted to help support her parents both emotionally and financially. Beyond being a responsible and loving older sibling and helping around the house, Caitlin’s opportunity to contribute created itself when her mother wrote a Christian fiction novel. A small publishing company in Georgia accepted the book for publication and released the book in paperback in June of 2010. Caitlin developed Purple Butterfly Pages as a way to sell the book not only online, but she traveled around the southern states and sold the book at festivals, expos, and bookstores. She also acted as publicist for her mother and arranged book signings and even speaking engagements at local clubs, churches, and organizations. She soon realized she loved meeting new people and the experiences that went along with all these adventures! She wanted more! Her mother’s publication experience ended adversely in 2011. Through that disagreeable experience, Caitlin found knowledge and inspiration. That gave her the motivation to expand her business and to fulfill her desire to treat people with respect and honorable services through the new avenue of Purple Butterfly Pages’ division: Purple Butterfly Publications!
Purple Butterfly Publications will be domestically and internationally publishing
Stephanie Townsend Ayers’ first hardback novel, Their Inheritance, by January 2013. Soon after, also in 2013, the hardback edition of its prequel, Through the Storms (working title), will follow.
Purple Butterfly Publications has contracted four definite books through 2014 and has more currently in the works!
Ms. Caitlin Ayers, since 2010, has earned her Applied Business Technology diploma as an Honor Graduate, and is currently finishing her Associates degree. Through her college courses, she is a Certified Customer Service Specialist. She was a semi-finalist in Georgia’s 2012 GOAL Program competition. She is a member of the Phi Beta Lambda sorority; which raises funds for the charity, Relay for Life. Through her love of history and community, along with being a twin sister to her brother who is currently a Marine, Caitlin is also a member of the Stephens County Historical Society, a contributor of the Currahee Military Museum in Toccoa, Georgia, and a member of the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce.
